When Merlin Callaghan visited her native Estonia in 2014 she discovered a new beauty treatment; lash extensions. Loving the new gorgeous, fluffy lashes, and the confidence boost they gave her, she was keen to continue having the treatment upon her return to the UK. However, her search for the perfect lash artist proved more difficult than anticipated, so in 2015 Merlin came up with a simple solution – to learn about the art of lash extensions herself.
Fast forward seven years and Merlin Lash And Beauty is now the go-to brand for perfect lashes, artist training courses and the finest lash products.
Merlin attained her qualifications by travelling to lash courses and bespoke mentoring sessions with industry leaders in Russia, Estonia, Romania, Ukraine, Finland and the United Kingdom.
With a meticulous eye for detail, Merlin creates unique individual lash looks for her clients who range from office and hospitality workers to sportswomen, celebrities and royalty. Merlin’s skilful approach, merging a range of spellbinding techniques with her own top-quality lash products, has earned her the nickname ‘Merlin The Lash Wizard’.

After spotting a gap in the market for quality lash products, Merlin founded the trademarked lash brand MLAB which provides high-quality professional lash products, developed and tested by herself and her Magical Lash Fairy Team and in consultation with her clients to guarantee the best lash products on the market.
To make her dream a reality, Merlin personally chose a selection of her students to become trainers for Merlin Lash and Beauty Training. Each of the lash trainers has a huge passion and devotion to deliver the best MLAB Lash Extension Courses right across the country.
MLAB Training is focused on different lash techniques such as Classic Lashes, Russian Volume Lashes, Mega Volume Lashes, Textured Lashes, Kim K lashes, Lash Mapping and many others. Lash courses also have a strong focus on lash health & safety and customer care, it is about producing lash artists of the highest calibre with 5-star customer service skills to match. Courses are available in MLAB’s training bases across the UK, while MLAB also love collaborating with salons all over the country and further afield to come and train your team.

Merlin The Lash Wizard, the girl behind the Merlin Lash and Beauty brand, splits her time between the buzz of London and the tranquility of the Isle of Wight, teaching new and advanced lash artists, mentoring, developing the best lash products, speaking at events and judging online or live lash competitions.
