Marta, a self-confessed ‘lash geek’, is a full-time lash and brow artist who qualified in 2018 and has been a lash trainer since November 2020. A mum of three, Marta has completed over 60 lash trainings (seminars, workshops, mentoring sessions, webinars, courses, online and in person).

Marta specialises in creative lash effects, namely L&M curls, textures and colour work. She says: “I’m a perfectionist with a pinch of an artist. Lash artistry not only requires a high technical skills, which is why I believe in continuous education, but it can also be fun and creative.”

“When teaching lashes I would like to share not only the skill but also the passion.” This year in competition Marta has won in classic lashes and placed third in mannequin lash art 2022. She claimed three first places in strip lash competition (colour, L&M curl, Kim K ) in 2020, and in 2019 came second in Classic lash competition. 

Marta and Merlin met at the MLAB Lash Wizards Workshop. Merlin very quickly recognised this shy girl is incredibly talented and a real-life lash fairy. Her tenacity is what makes her an incredible lash artist, a great trainer and Merlin’s right-hand girl and co creator of the recent MLAB lash workshops and manuals. Marta represented the MLAB brand as a speaker at the South American Lash Conference, delivering a talk on Textured Lashes and Wet Lash Look. 

She offers MLAB lash courses, workshops and mentoring in Nottingham in English and Latvian. All MLAB lash trainers are practicing lash artists, ensuring we are perfectly placed to relate to the students who choose us as their training provider.
